FCC Commissioner JONATHAN ADELSTEIN reiterated to a media consolidation forum in PHILADELPHIA WEDNESDAY (9/28) his concern that the FCC's consideration of revised ownership rules include public input, a position he and Commissioner MICHAEL COPPS, who ADELSTEIN replaced at the forum, have been pushing since the matter was raised at the Commission. ADELSTEIN, who made similar remarks at the NAB RADIO SHOW in PHILADELPHIA last THURSDAY (9/22), briefly mentioned the need to "do something about" payola in light of NEW YORK Attorney General ELIOT SPITZER's investigation and settlement with SONY BMG.
