LINCOLN FINANCIAL Talk/Hot AC WLNK (THE LINK)/CHARLOTTE midday host PAM STONE told listeners FRIDAY (5/12) that she will be exiting her show in two weeks. 

STONE told listeners that the station had asked her to expand from two to four hours and she chose not to do so ("I just could not see doing it... frankly, I don't think anybody could listen to it for four hours"); the comic and actress has been doing the show from a studio in "the shack" behind her GOWENSVILLE, NC home for three years. "We're working really hard to try and keep me on the station in some capacity," STONE added, lauding station management for allowing her to do a goodbye show and asking listeners not to send "hate mail" to the station.
