Residents of PENNSYLVANIA'S SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY got hit hard by the storms that recently tore through the region. This week, the MORNING RUSH at CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WLAN (FM 97)/LANCASTER came to the rescue. The morning show held an on-air auction to raise funds for the local RED CROSS, the proceeds of which will help the local residents who were affected by the record-setting flooding a week ago.
For a reminder of just how bad it got, check this clip of the flooding along the nearby CONESTOGA RIVER.
PD and MORNING RUSH host JEFF HURLEY told ALL ACCESS, "In just 3 hours we managed to raise almost $1000. Kudos to BOBBI SILVER at INTERSCOPE for providing autographed LADY GAGA stuff, also to KESLEY DITULLIO and LEE LEIPSNER at COLUMBIA for providing autographed swag from ADELE, BEYONCE and STEVEN TYLER."
