THE GRAND OLE OPRY will celebrate its 86th birthday with a star-studded lineup in NASHVILLE. Beginning TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4th, the OPRY will honor WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE artist RANDY TRAVIS for his 25 years in Country music and as an OPRY member, with appearances by CARRIE UNDERWOOD, CONNIE SMITH, JOSH TURNER, and more. Many of the performances will be part of an episode of “OPRY Live” on GAC-TV which will air SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15th, at 8p (CT).
On FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7th, and SATURDAY OCTOBER 8th, the night will feature performances by CHARLEY PRIDE, RASCAL FLATTS, the solo OPRY debut of RONNIE DUNN, and more. Also on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8th, the OPRY will hold a free afternoon birthday bash featuring Country artist MEL TILLIS the OPRY Plaza.
