Condolences to family and friends of longtime TEXAS broadcaster CHARLES TRUB, who died SEPTEMBER 16th in HOUSTON at 86, according to THE MONITOR of MCALLEN, TX.
TRUB owned and managed several radio and TV stations in the RIO GRANDE VALLEY, BEAUMONT, and MEMPHIS markets, including KLVI-A/BEAUMONT, KRIO-A, KRIX, and XHRIO-TV/BROWNSVILLE-MCALLEN, WMPS-A/MEMPHIS, and KVPA/SOUTH PADRE ISLAND.
Services will be held at PORTER LORING MORTUARY in SAN ANTONIO on TUESDAY (9/27), with burial following at FORT SAM HOUSTON CEMETERY. Donations in lieu of flowers are being accepted at THE CITY OF CHILDREN SHINSKY ORPHANAGE at CAPITAL REGION COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, 6035 Executive Dr., Ste. 104, LANSING, MI 48911, with "In Memory of CHARLIE TRUB" on the memo line of the check.
