TMZ is reporting that the long-rumored NICK DIPAOLO and ARTIE LANGE syndicated radio sports show will be launching MONDAY (10/3). The site says that the comedians have signed three year deals at over $500,000 each per year for syndication.
According to the report, DIRECTV plans a TV simulcast of "THE NICK AND ARTIE SHOW" on its AUDIENCE NETWORK next SPRING. LANGE previously served as a sidekick for HOWARD STERN on SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO, and DIPAOLO was a host on the old CBS RADIO Talk WFNY-A (92.3 FREE FM)/NEW YORK.
DIRECTV produces DAN PATRICK's radio/TV simulcast, aired on FOX SPORTS RADIO, and was a producer of FSR's "INTO THE NIGHT WITH TONY BRUNO" before BRUNO's recent exit to rejoin GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN-A-F (97.5 THE FANATIC)/PHILADELPHIA. The new DIRECTV show is not airing on FOX SPORTS RADIO.
