ACM LIFTING LIVES has announced that the OCTOBER theme for its monthly “My Cause” web feature is “Country Cares For Women.” The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.
“My Cause,” is encouraging artists to speak on camera about their favorite charities. Last year, ACM LIFTING LIVES gave more than $25,000 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness.
This month, “Country Cares For Women” is highlighting BROKEN BOW RECORDS artist JASON ALDEAN’s charity of chose SUSAN G. KOMEN FOR THE CURE, organization that seeks to improve the lives of women through early detection, supplementary education and additional research in the field of breast cancer.

ALDEAN held his sixth annual CONCERT FOR THE CURE on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th, donating the profits from his ROANOKE, VA. tour stop to SUSAN G. KOMEN FOR THE CURE. The concert raised $315,000 for the fight against breast cancer.
"This is one of my favorite things we do all year and taking it on the road to other cities has been huge in helping us bring in more money for KOMEN," said ALDEAN. "All of the money we raised will go to the local ROANOKE effort, allowing them to give free mammograms to those who can't afford it. We'll pick a different spot for next year and try to beat it. OCTOBER is a big month for raising money and awareness, and I have to thank my fans for doing their part! Seeing an arena filled with pink is just a really cool thing!"
