Broadcasters Foundation Raises Over $150,000 With Golf Tournament

The BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA Celebrity Golf Tournament raised over $150,000 for broadcasters in need this year. The event, held a week ago MONDAY at TARRYTOWN, NY, drew over 140 broadcasters and celebrities, including MICHAEL J. FOX, LOU DOBBS, BUCKLEY Talk WOR-A/NEW YORK's JOHN GAMBLING, ESPN/ABC sportscaster SEAN MCDONOUGH, ESPN RADIO's STEPHEN A. SMITH and CJ PAPA, ESPN TV's JOHN ANDERSON and JAY HARRIS, hockey's ROD GILBERT, BRIAN LEETCH, and BOB NYSTROM, and several more.
EVERCORE WEALTH MANAGEMENT sponsored the tournament with GREATER MEDIA President/CEO GREATER MEDIA and KATZ TELEVISION GROUP President JIM BELOYIANIS serving as co-chairs.
"The Celebrity Golf Fundraiser makes it possible for the Foundation to continue its mission of helping broadcasters in need," said President JIM THOMPSON. "Our thanks to PETER and JIM who served as this year's co-chairs and helped us present a successful event that provided attendees with an opportunity to give back to broadcasters who have nowhere else to turn."
