SISTY ENTERPRISES has flipped Classic Hits (JACK-FM) WNPT/MARION, AL to Country as “CATFISH COUNTRY 102.9.” The station, which penetrates the TUSCALOSA was using a DIAL GLOBAL format for the JACK period, so there were no staff changes in the format switch.

TREY DANIELS, who is coordinating programming, tells ALL ACCESS that eventually the station intends to be ‘live’ and local. Right now they are using DIAL GLOBAL’s “True Country” format. WNPT also has a new website under construction.
