DAVE CLEMENS has been promoted to OM of HORIZON BROADCASTING GROUP's cluster of six radio stations in CENTRAL OREGON. "DAVE is a terrific broadcaster and has demonstrated great leadership and I'm pleased we could promote from within our organization to fill our OM role," said GM KEITH SHIPMAN.
Additionally, CLEMENS has been named PD and morning show host of Classic Hits KQAK. CLEMENS replaces JEFFREY BRIAN NELSON, who resigned to pursue other interests. "We are saddened to lose JEFF, as he has awakened listeners for eight years on KQAK and we wish him the very best," said SHIPMAN. "We're fortunate to have a person on our staff that can fill his shoes. DAVE CLEMENS is a sensational air personality and has been part of the KQAK air staff for six years." CLEMENS will also handle afternoons on Hot AC KWPK (THE PEAK 104.1), the station on which he's performed morning duties since 2007.
ROBIN FOX has been promoted to PD of THE PEAK 104.1, and will succeed CLEMENS as morning show host. "ROBIN is a rising star in the radio industry, and she is part of the life group of THE PEAK 104.1. ROBIN has earned her PD stripes, and we’re excited to have her waking up CENTRAL OREGON listeners of THE PEAK 104.1," said SHIPMAN.
DAVID MILLER has been promoted from part-time utility air personality to PD and morning show host of AC KLTW (LITE 95.1). "DAVID is an experienced broadcaster with a keen appreciation for music and the audiences we are targeting," said SHIPMAN. "He joined our team last MARCH and has made a very positive impact on our organization. I am glad we can promote him to full-time status."
