Texas Mayors Issue Proclamations For Salem's 'TalkTober Month'

SALEM RADIO NETWORK's "SRN TalkTober Month" celebration of the Talk radio format has been supported by official Proclamations from the mayors of several TEXAS cities, including FORT WORTH, IRVING and ROCKWALL.  The promotion is a takeoff on Rock format stations' "Rocktober" promotions and SUBWAY's current "Anytober" sale.
 
VP/News & Talk Programming TOM TRADUP said, "TalkTober is a non-partisan, ecumenical event honoring the right every American has to engage in a free and open exchange of ideas and opinions on the premise that we in the U.S. have the right to hear -- and be heard on -- the major issues of the day."
