Three former executives of AIRPLAY DIRECT have filed to force the company into Chapter 11 bankruptcy, according to a report in the NASHVILLE BUSINESS JOURNAL.
Former Pres. SCOTT WELCH, EVP CLIF DOYAL and OM RALEIGH SQUIRES filed their case in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of TENNESSEE, alleging that they are owed $208,000 by the company. In addition, the action alleges that CEO ROBERT WEINGARTZ threatened them and said he "specifically made reference to sabotaging the alleged debtor if steps were taken to remove him from power."The filing seeks the appointment of a trustee to allow third party analysis of the operation. SUSSMAN AND ASSOCIATES is also listed as being owed over $27,000 for accounting services.
