Country artist HANK WILLIAMS JR. stopped by ABC-TV’s “THE VIEW” today (10/11), to discuss the controversy around his comparison of PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA to HITLER, on FOX-TV’s “FOX & FRIENDS” (NET NEWS 10/4).
HANK stated his comment was misunderstood, by saying “I’m not calling him HITLER, it’s an analogy.” The hosts of “THE VIEW” later asked, if he thought using the comparison was a bad idea, and HANK stated, “Oh yes, I told you, I’m not smart enough.”
“THE VIEW” also discussed HANKS new song “Keep The Change,” inspired by the debate, which has already had 100,000 downloads from his website by 3p YESTERDAY (10/10). HANK later added, “As of MAY 1st in 2012, ladies and gentlemen, me and my song will be free agents.”
