PETER DAVIDSON and KATHERINE DREW MCGHEE are selling their 100% of limited liability company membership agreements in BLACKSTRAP BROADCASTING, owner of brokered Ethnic WSNR-A/JERSEY CITY-NEW YORK and brokered Talk-Religion WWZN-A/BOSTON to MEDIA AMERICAS CORPORATION for $23,460,000 plus assumption of liabilities. The buyer is headed by President/Treasurer RUSSELL JONES and backed by 62-J ASSOCIATES LLC, the RAPOZA Family Trust, and JONES' TRILIGHT ENTERPRISES.
In other filings with the FCC, PACIFIC EMPIRE RADIO CORP. is selling Classic Hits KGTM and Sports (presently silent for repairs) KRXK-A/REXBURG, ID and Hot AC KBJX (uTUNES 106.3)/SHELLEY, ID to RICH BROADCASTING's RJ BROADCASTING LS, LLC, headed by RICHARD MECHAM, for $1.1 million plus a time brokerage agreement before closing. A previous sale of the trio to JERROLD T. LUNDQUIST's CHAPARRAL BROADCASTING, INC. for $1.5 million plus a time brokerage agreement before closing in 2010 did not close.
EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is selling the construction permit for a new FM in SILVERTON, CO to BRENDAN BANAHAN's MT COMMUNICATIONS for expenses estimated at $11,500.
JOY CHRISTIAN COMMUNICATIONS, INC is selling Gospel WHUN-A/HUMBOLDT, TN to PALMER JOHNSON, INC. for $10,000.

In a deal yet to be filed with the FCC, GRACE BROADCASTING SERVICES is selling Contemporary Christian WFGZ (THE DOVE 94.5)/LOBELVILLE, TN to FEDERATED MEDIA COO TONY RICHARDS' KENSINGTON DIGITAL MEDIA for $1.825 million. The station is moving from LOBELVILLE (between NASHVILLE and JACKSON, TN) as a Class C2 into the NASHVILLE market as a Class A with new community of license BELLEVUE, TN from a tower along I-40 west of NASHVILLE. ED HENSON at HENSON MEDIA served as broker for the deal.
