The $399 EARLY BIRD rate to attend CRS-2012 in NASHVILLE is going to be expiring on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15th. After that the price will go to the regular rate of $499. The event will be held from FEBRUARY 22nd-24th at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER.
In other CRS news, it's just been announced that CAPITOL NASHVILLE group LADY ANTEBELLUM will perform a show during CRS on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd, and as a special show of appreciation to Country radio, will be allocating a block of seats to CRS attendees.
“We feel like it was just yesterday when we heard our first single on the radio for the first time. Here we are four years later with so much gratitude and love in our hearts for our friends at Country radio,” said the group's HILLARY SCOTT. “With our 'Own The Night Tour' going on this SPRING, we thought what better time to play NASHVILLE than during CRS...we want this to be a huge party to celebrate our relationship with Country radio, our hometown, and OWNING THE NIGHT."
The band is also making a donation to help support all CRS programs, including its scholarship, seminar and the COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME
“The direct relationship that Country radio has with its artists is unparalleled in this business,” said CRS Executive Director BILL MAYNE. “COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR has always strived to strengthen those relationships, and we are deeply appreciative of LADY ANTEBELLUM'S generosity and recognition of those efforts. This show marks the first of several upcoming artist announcements we have planned in the coming months as CRS continues to evolve and create new and exciting events at the most comprehensive Country radio industry event in the world.”
