The ASSOCIATED PRESS has introduced a widget for Country radio station websites that offers Country music news, photos and videos of today’s Country artists. The widget is refreshed and updated daily with Country music news, photos and videos by AP. The platform is embedded on the stations’ websites and is jointly branded with the participating outlets’ call letters and logos.
It’s designed as a turn-key solution for the homepages of any website interested in Country music news. Sites can insert their own ads under their agreement with AP.
AP ENTERTAINMENT PRODUCTS Global Dir. MICHAEL DUTTON said, “The combination of targeted Country content and enhancing local Web advertising is now a reality. Country-formatted websites can now have real-time information about Country music and insert their own local ads, all in a turnkey, labor-free solution. Country sites can now have the best of Country music news content and drive online ad revenues simultaneously.”
A special offer is available for stations that sign up before the 45th annual CMA AWARDS on NOVEMBER 9th. Those interested should contact AP at (800) 821-4747.
