2012 Country Radio Hall Of Fame Inductees Announced

The 2012 inductees have been announced for the COUNTRY RADIO HALL OF FAME. They include BEVERLEE BRANNIGAN, RON ROGERS, MOBY, EDDIE STUBBS, RUSTY WALKER and BILL WHYTE.
BEVERLEE BRANNIGAN, RON ROGERS, and RUSTY WALKER are the 2012 Radio category inductees, and MOBY, EDDIE STUBBS, and BILL WHYTE are the On-Air category inductees. The class of 2012 will be officially inducted at a dinner and ceremony on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21st at 6p (CT), at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER.
BRANNIGAN is currently OM for JOURNAL BROADCAST GROUP/WICHITA, KS. She began her career at WOKQ/DOVER, NH as an air personality in 1979. She has been in WICHITA as OM since 2003. RON ROGERS was President/GM/Co-Owner for Country KASE and KVET/AUSTIN for 24 years and was inducted into the TEXAS RADIO HALL OF FAME in 2004. RUSTY WALKER is a prominent consultant in Country radio and is president of his consulting firm RUSTY WALKER PROGRAMMING. He has been recognized with numerous national industry and community awards, including a seven-year consecutive run as BILLBOARD’S “Consultant of the Year.”
MOBY is among the 2012 Radio category inductees, and is the host of his own syndicated Country morning show. EDDIE STUBBS has done evenings at GAYLORD’s WSM-A/NASHVILLE for the past 16 years and is also the announcer of the GRAND OLE OPRY. BILL WHYTE started his career on the air as a teenager at KCPR (KOW PASTURE RADIO) in MISSOURI, and has also done stints at WSM-F/NASHVILLE, WUBE/CINCINNATI and WFMS/INDIANAPOLIS.
The HALL OF FAME dinner/ceremony unofficially kicks off CRS each year. CRS-2012 will be held at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER from FEBRUARY 22nd-24th.
