The ST. LOUIS CARDINALS are back on the radio dial in MEMPHIS, as Sports KQPN-A (730 ESPN) picks up the team's network broadcasts starting with TUESDAY's game and for the rest of the season, according to the MEMPHIS COMMERCIAL APPEAL.
The CARDS, whose top farm club is the MEMPHIS REDBIRDS, had aired previously on WMC-A but were dropped when that station flipped from Sports to Country; the problem was compounded by the team's flagship switch from KMOX-A/ST. LOUIS, audible at night throughout the region, to KTRS-A/ST. LOUIS, which is not heard at night in MEMPHIS.
