SEAN BALIGIAN has exited the SEAN AND TERP afternoon show, airing on CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WDFN-A/DETROIT and WMAX (ESPN 96.1)/GRAND RAPIDS.
On the show's FACEBOOK page, a status update reads, "There is no more show. We can't give any information as to the details of what happened other than to say that SEAN has decided to move on and the two stations will no long be simulcasting in DETROIT and GR. TERP (RYAN TERPSTRA) will be hosting the 3-6 slot in GR alone and for info on that you can refer to ESPN 96.1. As for WDFN in DETROIT, the afternoon will continue to be local with fill-in hosts until a permanent replacement is found. For info on that, you can refer to 1130 WDFN.
"Please understand that no 'behind the scenes' details can be provided due to legalities and confidentiality. No further details of the show's cancellation will be provided through this page.
"We thank you for the support you've show us in both markets especially in the aftermath of KILLER's (late former co-host TOM KOWALSKI) passing. We leaned on you all and can't express our thanks enough. We wish the show could continue but, it simply isn't possible. Please remember, you can always reach out to the guys through their personal FB pages."
BALIGIAN posted on his own page, "Thanks to everybody that tuned into SEAN, TERP and KILLER. We tried to have fun everyday, I hope it showed! Time to move on, but hope you guys can catch me somewhere soon! Thanks!"
