WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE is challenging MUSIC ROW and Country radio to see who could last the longest in a “No Shave NOVEMBER” competition, which raises money for ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL. Though the event doesn’t kick-off until next week, the first goal of $2,500 dollars, and the second goal for $5,000 have already been reached. The new goal has been set to $10,000.
Participants will start with a clean shaved face on MONDAY, OCTOBER 31st and post a photo of themselves with that day’s newspaper on FACEBOOK to officially enter the competition. On TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 30th, participants will father for a “Beard Bash” at THE MOOSE MUSIC ROW in NASHVILLE, where prizes will be awarded to finalist and a “No Shave NOVEMBER Champion” will be crowned in front of a panel of celebrity judges.
This year there will be a “Meeker Clause” which allows participants and non-participants to pay $30 to allow a contestant to shave before the month is through. To sign up for the competition and for more visit www.countrycares.org.
