WMAL-A Ups Heather Smith To Exec. Producer Of Morning Show

CUMULUS MEDIA News/Talk WMAL-A/WASHINGTON, D.C. has promoted HEATHER SMITH to Executive Producer of the WMAL Morning Majority morning program, MEDIABISTRO reports. PD BILL HESS announced the promotion in an internal e-mail.

"HEATHER has been an integral player on the morning show since joining us in AUGUST 2010, and her contacts, experience, and focus have helped the program grow even more quickly than we have the right to expect," he wrote. "Her steady hand during our 'interim period' earlier this year served to guide us through that confusing time with no ratings loss!"
