CLASSICAL PUBLIC RADIO NETWORK LLC has applied to the FCC for a Silent STA for FM translator K209AI/EUREKA, CA. The licensee cites "impending co-channel interference from another station" for the move.
Also filed with the FCC was notice of the closing of CRYSTAL CLEAR BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC.'s sale of Country KQIK-A (K-COUNTRY 1230)/LAKEVIEW, OR to JOSEPH E. KALISEK for $12,500, and the formal closing notice for the assignment of CBS RADIO News-Talk KFWB-A/LOS ANGELES to the KFWB LICENSE TRUST. And the Commission has approved TOWNSQUARE MEDIA's acquisition of 26 radio stations from DOUBLE O CORPORATION in ONEONTA, NY, MIDLAND-ODESSA, TX, SAN ANGELO, TX, QUINCY-HANNIBAL, IL-MO and SEDALIA, MO for $11 million plus 96,505.506 Class A Preferred Units and the same number of Class A Common Units issued to DOUBLE O.
