The FCC has fined SPIRIT BROADCASTING, INC. $25,000 for EAS, tower enclosure, and public file violations at Silent WGTM-A/WILSON, NC. The licensee never responded to the initial Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture in the matter.
The FCC also proposed a $10,000 fine against EAST CAROLINA RADIO, INC. for tower lighting and recordkeeping violations at the tower of Classic Hits WERX (102.5 THE SHARK)/MAGS HEAD, NC.
ANDREWS TOWER RENTAL, INC. has been fined $3,750 for lighting violations at a tower in OPLIN, TX.
The Commission denied ROBERT J. and KATHERINE M. BOHN's Petition for
Reconsideration of $21,000 in fines against their Country KCNQ/KERNVILLE, CA and Classic Rock KRVQ (104.5 THE RIVER) and Talk KVLI-A/LAKE ISABELLA, CA for late license renewal applications and subsequent unauthorized operation.BEST OF LIFE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, INC.'s Application for Review of the dismissal of its application for a new low power FM in LADY LAKE, FL was denied as well by the Commission.
And GREAT GOD GOSPEL AND EDUCATIONAL STATION, INC.'s Application
for Review of the denial of its application for a new FM booster station at OCALA, FL was also denied.
