ALPHA BROADCASTING Hot AC KBFF (LIVE 95.5)/PORTLAND is asking listeners to help fill two 50-foot SAFEWAY trucks with clothing supplies to help the homeless with their annual "TRUCKLOAD OF COATS" event on FRIDAY (11/4) from 6a-7p
Listeners can make donations of gently used coats, sweaters, hats, gloves, toiletries, duffel bags, socks, and other supplies for babies and children. Items will be distributed through TRANSITION PROJECTS, INC. to serve the needs of those in need as they transition from homelessness to housing.
LIVE 95.5 PD KEOLA LUI-KWAN commented, "Being locally owned, we are always looking to give back to our Northwest community. Knowing how cold and wet the winters are here, this is a great opportunity for all of us to donate coats and other items that just hang in the closet unused. It’s about caring for the children and families that are less fortunate than ourselves. We are looking for donations to help us fill the trucks and together we can make a difference in our community."
