Blake Shelton To Kick Off The CMA Awards With Kenny Loggins

The COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION has announced that WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE artist BLAKE SHELTON has invited singer/songwriter KENNY LOGGINS to join him for the opening performance of the classic hit, “Footloose,” at the 45th annual CMA AWARDS.
Other performers include SARA EVANS, MARTINA McBRIDE, SCOTTY McCREERY, SUGARLAND, the ZAC BROWN BAND, KEITH URBAN, RASCAL FLLATS, FAITH HILL, LADY ANTEBELLUM, MIRANDA LAMBERT, THE BAND PERRY,JASON ALDEAN, TAYLOR SWIFT and KEITH URBAN.
In other news, the award show has sold out for the third consecutive year.
CMA Chief Executive Officer STEVE MOORE said, “The AWARDS have sold out the past two years, but this is the first time since moving to the BRIDGESTONE ARENA in 2006 that we have sold out the venue this far in advance. The excitement and anticipation for this event continues to build and fans and the industry recognize that this is an event that cannot be missed."
ARISTA RECORDS artists BRAD PAISLEY and CARRIE UNDERWOOD will host the show once again, and also perform their hit “Remind Me” for the first time live.
The 45th annual CMA AWARDS will air live from the BRIDGESTONE ARENA on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9th, on ABC-TV at 8p (ET).
