The ACM (ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC) announced TODAY (11/4), that the NOVEMBER theme for its monthly “My Cause,” web feature is “NATIONAL ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE AWARENESS MONTH.” The web feature drives awareness of artist-supported charitable organizations and supports fundraising efforts for those philanthropies.
“My Cause,” is encouraging artists to speak on camera about their favorite charities. Last year, ACM LIFTING LIVES gave more than $25,000 to artists’ favorite charities through this program, and will again make donations in addition to driving fan awareness.
This month, the theme is highlighting an organization that seeks to improve the quality of life for those confronting dementia. ATLANTIC RECORDS artist BRETT ELDREDGE has picked the ALZHEIMER’S FOUNDATION OF AMERICA to be supported this month.
