It has been confirmed that CUMULUS MEDIA is downsizing personnel in at least two markets TODAY.. So far, ALL ACCESS has gotten the names of some, but not all of the staffers let go in DETROIT and COLORADO SPRINGS.
In DETROIT, Hot AC WDVD nights SCOTT VERTICAL, overnighter JEANMARIE PAVOL, Traffic reporters CHERYL DUYCK and MARIE SORAGHAN (traffic), MARK MITCHELL in Production, KELLY in Promotions, MARTHA in Accounting have left the building, as have sister Talk WJR-A on-air reporter JOHN McCULLOCH, anchors DONNA BARBERA and DAYNA CLARK, and engineer KEVIN HAWLEY..
In COLORADO SPRINGS, Top 40 KKMG nights (and cluster nights operations) DJ MICHAELS, Classic Rock KKFM morning show producer CHUCK SQUIRE, Country KATC morning host UNCLE STEVE, and News/Talk KVOR-A morning news DAVID JOHN MCCOY, reporter JACKIE CRADDOCK and studio producer SASHA VACCARO.
In PROVIDENCE, GOLOCALPROV.COM is reporting that Talk WPRO-A-WEAN Digital Reporter BOB PLAIN and evening producer TONY CORNETTA were let go among up to 12 at the cluster getting fired.
More names are expected to surface in the three markets.
