2011 Covenant Award Winners Announced

The GOSPEL MUSIC ASSOCIATION (GMA) CANADA announced the winners for its 2011 COVENANT AWARDS. The awards were handed out at the COVENANT AWARDS banquet and awards show on OCTOBER 28th in CALGARY, ALBERTA.
Canadian artists with a presence on Christian radio in the U.S. that won include CENTRICITY MUSIC's HIGH VALLEY with five awards including Group and Artist of the Year. CENTRICITY band DOWNHERE won two including Song of the Year for "Let Me Rediscover You." KINGSWAY band THE CITY HARMONIC went home with three including New Artist of the Year and TOOTH & NAIL/BEC artists HAWK NELSON and MANAFEST each went home with two awards
