IRON RANGE BROADCASTING, INC. is selling Talk KRBT-A and AC WEVE-F/EVELETH, MN and three translators, W221AU/VIRGINIA, MN; W252AN/HIBBING, MN; and W288AI/WLY, MN to CURTIS SQUIRE's RED ROCK RADIO CORP. for $1,035,512. In a related deal, LATTO NORTHLAND BROADCASTING, INC., like IRON RANGE part of the operations controlled by the late MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS Talk WDSM-A/DULUTH, morning host LEW LATTO, who died in AUGUST, is selling Country KGPZ/COLERAINE, MN to RED ROCK for $419,488.
In other filings with the FCC, LOPESTER BROADCASTING is selling the construction permit for a new FM in PENTWATER, MI to SYNERGY LAKESHORE LICENSES, LLC for $34,750.
BIBLE BELIEVERS NETWORK, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for WCLC-A/JAMESTOWN, TN due to technical problems.
CHURCH ALIVE, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for WSMP/NEW HEBRON, MS due to transmitter damage.
JACKMAN HOLDING COMPANY, LLC has applied for a Silent STA for KLMZ/LEADWOOD, MO while it searches for a new permanent location.
PERCEPTION MEDIA GROUP, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for WOWZ-A/APPOMATTOX, VA while the station relocates.
And KENT FRANDSEN's CANYON MEDIA GROUP, LLC has applied for a new FM on 107.7 in PIOCHE, NV; the new Class C facility is a "backfill" proposal for a new allocation to PIOCHE because CANYON is filing to move its silent KCLS from PIOCHE to LEEDS, UT and the new allocation would continue service to PIOCHE. CANYON tells the FCC that it will withdraw the new station application if the KCLS application is denied.
