College football's annual EAST-WEST SHRINE GAME is returning to radio after a long absence, with the JANUARY 21st, 2012 game to be broadcast by PLAY-BY-PLAY SPORTS PROPERTIES LLC and distributed by SKYVIEW NETWORKS. PATRICK KINAS and BRIAN JORDAN will call the action, with RICK BERKEY as sideline reporter.
The all-star game is moving to TROPICANA FIELD in ST PETERSBURG for the first time this season after two seasons at the FLORIDA CITRUS BOWL in ORLANDO. The game was mostly played at venues in the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, including KEZAR STADIUM, STAMFORD STADIUM, and AT&T PARK, from 1925 through 2005 before a season at SAN ANTONIO's ALAMODOME and three in HOUSTON, at RELIANT STADIUM and ROBERTSON STADIUM.
