JAMES THOMAS DAVIS, who was declared by PRESIDENT LYNDON B. JOHNSON as the “first AMERICAN to fall in defense of our freedom in VIETNAM,” will be honored by radio show THE ERNEST TUBB MIDNITE JAMBOREE on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29th. ROCKIE LYNN will host alongside GRAND OLE OPRY member JAN HOWARD, whose son was also killed in VIETNAM.
The show is designed to pay tribute to all VIETNAM VETERANS and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the VIETNAM WAR. This special MIDNITE JAMBOREE will be held at the famous TEXAS TROUBADOUR THEATER in NASHVILLE on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19th at midnight (CT) and is free and open to the public. VIETNAM veterans will have priority seating for this performance.
