COX MEDIA GROUP's RICHMOND cluster of stations will be holding daylong live broadcasts at area KROGER stores from NOVEMBER 17th-19th. The broadcasts are part of COX MEDIA GROUP/RICHMOND’s month-long food drive called Feed RICHMOND, benefitting the CENTRAL VIRGINIA FOOD BANK (CVFB).
Richmonders are encouraged to come by and show their support for the CVFB. There will be prize giveaways, music and the opportunity to donate food and funds. Last year, Feed RICHMOND collected about 200,000 meals for CVFB.
K95’s CATFISH and LORI in the Morning will be living and broadcasting at the CHESTER KROGER for the second year in a row, while HOT 100.9’s afternooner ERIC SEAN will be living and broadcasting in the CARYTOWN location. Expect live DJs, bands and more at both locations all in the hope of attracting attention and more donations.
"The CENTRAL VIRGINIA FOOD BANK is desperately in need of help, especially this time of year," said CMG/RICHMOND VP/GM BOB WILLOUGHBY. "CMG/RICHMOND, along with our community partners, feels privileged to be able to help Feed RICHMOND for the 4th year in a row."
