FCC Officially Appoints Guice, Lewis To Head Office Of Legislative Affairs

The FCC has made permanent the appointment of GREG GUICE as Director, Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA). GUICE has been serving as Acting Director of OLA and as Special Counsel for House Affairs.  In addition, the Commission has removed the "acting" from CHRISTOPHER LEWIS' title and made him officially Deputy Director of OLA.

FCC Chairman JULIUS GENACHOWSKI said, "GREG's substantive knowledge and interpersonal skills have helped OLA act as a critical resource to Congressional staff and further the agency's Congressionally-mandated obligations. CHRIS's insights and dedication have been essential to the FCC's outreach to Congressional offices on a range of issues. I am delighted that GREG and CHRIS will continue their public service in these roles at the Commission."
