LIQUID SPINS artist TIM RUSHLOW is scheduled to perform his self-penned patriotic song, “Bagpipes Crying” during half time AT EVERBANK FIELD on NOVEMBER 27th during the JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS NFL game against the HOUSTON TEXANS. RUSHLOW will sing during the annual military appreciation game this year. Sixty airmen will hold two large AMERICAN field flags while over 200 recruits from all branches of the military are inducted into service.
"I wrote ‘Bagpipes Crying’ with RODNEY CLAWSON after a talk I had with my best friend, NAVY SEAL CMDR. MARK WADDELL. He had just been through the tough job of losing 15 men in 2005 in what was then, the worst NAVY SEAL /SPECIAL FORCES casualty disaster in history after 2 Chinooks went down in AFGHANISTAN, one trying to rescue the other. He had written a poem about it and had told me that he felt like the bagpipes were crying ‘Amazing Grace.’ That is why we put his name on the song. He gave us the idea and we felt like we should honor him with his first work as a songwriter!" said RUSHLOW. “MARK is a good man and I knew how it weighed on him and all of those brave heroes who are left here after their brothers have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. This song pays tribute to all veterans in all wars who have made it possible for u s to be free here in this great country.”
RUSHLOW, formerly of Country group LITTLE TEXAS, has now released a Christian album, “Unfinished Symphony.” For more on TIM RUSHLOW, visit www.timrushlow.com.
