Conflicting Reports On Mindy McCready Missing Child Case

There are conflicting reports surrounding the case of Country singer MINDY McCREADY, and allegations that she illegally took her five-year old son ZANDER from the child's father's house, and that police are now searching for her. 

CBS news, along with other major news sources continue to report, that authorities say McCREADY is missing with the boy. According to CBS NEWS, “The state's DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, says a missing persons report was filed with CAPE CORAL, FL police on TUESDAY (11/29), after McCREADY took ZANDER from her father's home.” 

Meanwhile, McCREADY’s camp is saying it’s not true. McCREADY tells ACCESS HOLLYWOOD, ““I am working with lawyers to try to get all this straightened out,” she told ACCESS HOLLYWOOD in an e-mail today (11/30). “I did not steal my child, as it would be impossible for me to kidnap what already belongs to me. There never was any missing persons report and never an AMBER ALERT.”

To complicate the story even more, reportedly, McCREADY is pregnant and expecting twins.
