For the second season, the SEATTLE MARINERS will use a rotating group of seven announcers to join RICK RIZZS in the booth for the team's radio broadcasts in 2012. The rotating arrangement was initiated last season to fill the seat of the late Hall of Fame broadcaster DAVE NIEHAUS, who died in 2010.
The rotation brings back three former MARINERS announcers, KEN LEVINE, KEN WILSON, and RON FAIRLY, along with former M'S players JAY BUHNER, DAVE VALLE, DAVID HENDERSON, and DAN WILSON. While not part of the regular rotation, minor league TACOMA RANIERS announcer MIKE CURTO, who substituted several times on MARINERS games last season, may also be used to work with RIZZS.
