CLEAR CHANNEL CINCINNATI news anchor BILL BANGERT is exiting the cluster on FRIDAY, reports the CINCINNATI ENQUIRER's JOHN KIESEWETTER, and his reason for leaving is unusual: He plans to take his entire family on an around-the-world trip.
BANGERT, who is heard as morning co-anchor on Talk WLW-A and served as pre-game host for CINCINNATI REDS baseball on WLW (and previously anchored news on Rock WEBN's "DAWN PATROL"), and wife ANNIE, who is leaving her job at CONVERGYS, are taking their 11-year-old twins around the world, including stops in FIJI, AUSTRALIA, and through ASIA to EUROPE, possibly including the OLYMPICS in LONDON next SUMMER. He plans to call in to JIM SCOTT's WLW morning show with reports on the family's progress.
