BET CEO STEPHEN HILL, celebrating his 50th birthday, was the curator and honoree at LIVE BEAT 2 -- MUSICAL MAYHEM AND TONAL TERROR FASHIONED BY FUNK, a special event at NEW YORK's HIGHLINE BALLROOM on WEDNESDAY to raise funds for the music industry's LIFEBEAT HIV/AIDS charity.
HILL was joined by LEDISI, BUSTA RHYMES, INDIA ARIE, and EARTH, WIND AND FIRE's VERDINE WHITE, backed by a house band led by MARK BATSON and choreography by LAURIEANN GIBSON. Among the revelers in attendance were SELITA EBANKS, SEAN "DIDDY" COMBS, MATTHEW KNOWLES, ASHANTI, and KEVIN LILES.
