Nashville: "The River" Flows; South Central Scores 25-54
CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WRVW (THE RIVER) posted solid gains in the spring book that moved them to the top of the NASHVILLE market among persons 12+, 18-34 and 18-49. The station ranked top five 25-54. Meanwhile, SOUTH CENTRAL AC WJXA and sister ADULT HITS WCJK (JACK-FM) scored two of the top three positions 25-54. Meanwhile, there was a change in the Country battle with WKDF and WSM-FM sharing the demo leadership.
Ranks among Country competitors: WKDF (#1 18-34, #1 18-49, #3 25-54), WSM-FM (#2 18-34, #2 18-49, #1 25-54), WSIX (#3 18-34, #3 18-49, #2 25-54).18-34: WRVW scored a 1.3 share gain to move into the top spot, moving ahead of sister Urban WUBT (-2.6). WRVW and WUBT scored double digit shares, and were far ahead of everyone else in the market. WCJK lost 1.2 shares, to remain third. While CITADEL Country WKDF only grew .3 shares 18-34, it moved from them seventh to fourth in demo. CROMWELL Active Rock WBUZ moves up from sixth to fifth despite a 0.4 share slide. CUMULUS Country WSM-FM posted a 1.2 share gain and now ranks sixth. In seventh was sister Urban AC WQQK (+0.7). WJXA (-1.7) slides from fifth to eighth, tying them with CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Rock WNRQ, which was off 2.9 shares and drops from a tie for third. Rounding out the top ten is CLEAR CHANNEL Country WSIX (-1.4).
18-49: WRVW posts a 1.1 share gain here to move from third to first. They also replace WUBT in the top spot here as 'UBT slides 2.1 shares. WCJK (-1.4) drops from second to third. Moving from eighth to fourth is WQQK (+0.6). WJXA (-0.7) holds in fifth place. WNRQ (-1.8) drops from fourth to sixth. WKDF is the top 18-49 Country station (+0.3) and ranks seventh. WSM-FM slides 1.1 shares and drops from sixth to eighth. WSIX drops from a tie for sixth to ninth (-1.3). WBUZ (+0.9) and CUMULUS Talk WWTN (+0.3) tie for tenth.
25-54: WJXA grows 0.3 to move from a tie for second in the winter to the top spot in the spring. Growing only a half share, but surging from No. 7 to No. 2 is WQQK. WCJK drops from first to third. WRVW inches up a tenth to move up to the No. 4 spot. WSM-FM wins the Country battle 25-54, despite being off a full share, and ranks fifth overall. Tied for sixth are WNRQ (-1.6) and WSIX (-1.5). WWTN (+0.6) now ranks eighth. CITADEL Sports WGFX (-1.3) slides from sixth to ninth. WKDF (-0.3) rounds out the top ten.

Oklahoma City: Regional Mexican KTUZ Takes 18-34 Crown
OKLAHOMA CITY has a new 18-34 champ, and it's TYLER Regional Mexican KTUZ which surges 1.9 shares to claim the top spot. CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KJYO (+0.5) moves from third to second. CITADEL Rhythmic rebounds and scores a 2.7 share gain and climbs from seventh to third 18-34. CITADEL Active Rock KATT (+1.3) rises from fifth to fourth. Dropping from first to fifth is CLEAR CHANNEL Country KTST (-2.1). Sister Alternative KHBZ (+0.8) ranks sixth. In seventh was RENDA AC KMGL (-0.3), tied with PERRY Urban KVSP (+0.4). Sliding from fourth down to ninth is CITADEL Hot AC KYIS (-0.9). Rounding out the top ten is RENDA Classic Rock KRXO (-0.3).
18-49: KATT soars two shares to move into double digits and grab the top spot 18-49. KMGL (+0.7) climbs from third to second. KRXO grows 0.7 shares and moves from a tie for fifth to third. KTST drops from first to fourth, losing 2.2 shares. KTUZ ranks fifth (off 0.1). KKWD grows nearly two shares and soars from No. 13 to No. 6, putting them ahead of KJYO (-0.6), who slides from a tie for fifth down to a tie for seventh. Also seventh is RENDA Classic Hits KOMA (+1.5), who is the top station 12+. KYIS is off a half share and finishes ninth. CHISHOLM TRAIL Adult Hits KQOB (+1.0) ranks tenth.
