BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
DEMO:
Rhythmic Top 40 DemoMy name is Jay R the Superstar but I only go by that when I'm hosting an events or DJing at nightclubs. You can just call me Jay R. Recently, I was the first American who hosted a morning show in Malaysia that reached over two million people. Before my trip overseas, I was the MD/morning show host APD or MD. After eight months of being #1 at night, I was promoted to MD/mornings. He said some cool things about me on Allaccess.com if you want to check it out. I suck at writing but I'm super-comfortable on the mic. Hope I can prove my skills to you.
1) What do you do to maintain a positive mental attitude and to stay motivated?
I create! I try to create an emotion on my Instagram page. Whether it's through making you laugh with my funny characters or getting you motivated with my motivational minute, I create to stay sane.
2) How are you occupying your time, besides looking for a job?
The answer to this question is the same as above, but I'm also working out because who knows my next gig might actually be on a beach.
3) Some people get discouraged or enlightened with the business when they actually step out of it for a while. Tell us your observations from the outside.

This is my first time ever being on the beach and it's been six months.
6) What's the best way to get your foot in the door?
By any means necessary... of course you know your worth, but sometimes you have to take a step back to take three steps forward.
7) What has been your best resource for finding out about job openings?
8) What's the craziest thing you've ever done to get a job?
Send an edible arrangement with my e-mail and phone number. I know it's not all that crazy.
9) What is the next job you'd like to obtain?
I would like to be on-air in the afternoons and be an APD.
10) Are you finding salaries/benefits lower than you ever thought, about the same, or have you seen some pleasant surprises?
I haven't even gotten this far.
