Please begin by giving us a brief career history ...
I started in the music/entertainment biz at the age of 15 working at Red Rocks. After working for a pro hockey team and finishing college, my debut in radio came in Denver at KXPK, then overnights at Rock101 in Houston before moving to the Buzz for nights. While kicking ass in PPM for the Buzz, I also hosted nights in Dallas at KEGL. Now I work for OnSeeker Music on the iPhone.
1) How are you occupying your time, besides looking for a job?
STRIPPERS!
2) Do you plan on sticking with the music/radio industry?
For sure ... it's all I know!
3) What's the longest stretch you've had on the beach?
This ... since St. Patty's Day.
4) What's the best way to get your foot in the door?
With a shoe ...
5) What's the craziest thing you've ever done to get a job?
Went to jail for a bit ... thanks, Rover!
6) What is the next job you'd like to obtain?
Afternoons in a nice market.
7) Are you spending as much time listening to radio as you used to?
Not at all.
8) What has been your biggest career accomplishment?
The pleasure to be in two top-10 markets at the same time, one being in my hometown of Dallas at the first station I fell in love with ... 971 THE EAGLE.
9) What do you miss most about radio?
Performing nightly. To me, radio is an art ... in a gallery without Dali, Picasso or any Van Gogh. So I always try and step it up!
10) If you were offered a similar position to what you were doing for considerably less money, would you seriously consider taking the job just to stay in the biz?
Hell, yeah!
