Where Have I Been?

I would explain to you why there's been a gap posting here, but it would be boring and involves a wide range of stuff from travel to kidney stones and stuff. You don't want to hear about kidney stones.

Unless, that is, you're the host of "The Kidney Stone Podcast." There HAS to be one, right? One of the daunting things in getting podcasts up and running is coming up with something nobody's yet done. With approximately a zillion podcasts available today, there might seem no new ideas. But you could say the same thing about any medium. Television, movies -- especially movies, the focus of most consumers' "no new ideas" complaints -- music, it's all been done.

Which is no excuse, is it? So there's been a podcast about your passion. Maybe a thousand of them. So what? None of them had YOU. YOU can do it better, right? No? You can do it different, then. But do it, because it WILL be different, and because, somewhere out there, there's a listener waiting to hear what you have to say, even if he or she doesn't know it yet. Don't disappoint them, or yourself. Hit the red button and get going.
