You want to be on Spotify. Then again, you want to be on every platform. But being on Spotify sounds cool, so you want that. Yet there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do that through Spotify itself.
Problem? Not if you use one of the bigger podcast hosting services. I know that Libsyn, Blubrry, and Spreaker let you apply through them for access to Spotify and some other services like iHeartRadio, and you should use them whenever possible, just because it'll make your life easier.
For my own, I did each individually except Spotify, which you sort of have to do through your host, and it was time-consuming. My host is Libsyn, and they'll do Google Play and iHeartRadio for you as well as Spotify; I did the first two myself, along with Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, TuneIn, and RadioPublic. You should do all of them, too.
I don't think I need to explain why you should be on all platforms, do I? The idea of being wherever people go to listen to podcasts? The piggy-backing on those platforms for Alexa/Google Assistant access (ask Alexa for my podcast and it fires right up, courtesy TuneIn or iHeartRadio)? Just do it. Be where everyone is. Including Spotify, where I get plays even though Lord knows I don't even know where it is on there. I don't need to know, as long as it's there.
