More E-Reader Competition

Book retailer Borders will become the latest to enter the e-reader market. The Kobo e-reader will be sold through Borders retail stores, although Borders will be selling other e-readers in addition to the $179 Kobo. And, taking a page out of the Amazon (and Apple) playbook, Borders also plans on launching its own e-bookstore this month. Borders says that its bookstore will have 1 million titles, which would dwarf current offering in Apple's iBookstore.
