Instead of 15 minutes of fame, a video gets about 3 weeks of fame. TubeMogul's analysis shows that the typical video gets 50% of its plays in the first 6 days on YouTube and 75% in the first 20 days. This is an accelerated schedule compared to 2 years ago when TubeMoguls's 2008 study showed it took 14 days to get to 50% and 44 days to reach 75%.
