Once upon a time people criticized Apple for not supporting Flash video. iPhone and iPad users have been frustrated when trying to watch videos on many websites since most used Flash. But things are changing rapidly. According to MeFeedia’s analysis <http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-html-5-video-2011-3?utm_source=Triggermail&utm_medium=email&utm_term=Silicon+Alley+Insider+Chart+Of+The+Day&utm_campaign=SAI_COTD_030111#ixzz1FOPouruI> of 30,000 websites, 63% of websites now support HTML5, the video format that allows Apple users to watch video on mobile devices. The analysis shows rapid growth in the acceptance of HTML5. According to the study, just 10% of sites supported HTML5 in January of last year. By October the number had surpassed 50%.
