We are on a Rocky Mountain Tour and in Denver tonight.
2. Let’s start at the beginning. Give us the scoop on where and how the band formed?
A group of buddies all playing in different bands and just really wanted to rock out together. So that’s what we are doing.
3. I understand you started writing your own songs at the age of 17. What was the primary inspiration for those early songs?
Death and Heartache.
4. Congrats on the success of your single “Ramon Ayala” which is a Top 5 song at Rock Radio. What can you tell us about the real Ramon Ayala and what his music meant to you?
He’s the George Strait of Mexican culture and I have listened to him my entire life. I’m real proud to have written a song that makes people more aware of him and my culture.
5. What other bands or artists have inspired you and you’d list as major influences from the start and even up until today?
Good country bands, good rock bands, I love it all and it set the tone for our sound. Making music for people who say they remember when rock or country was cool.
6. You have two full-length albums under your belt. What’s the status of your next album and when will it be released?
It’s almost done. You’ll hear it this Summer!
7. What’s your take on Rock Radio and do you have any choice Radio moments you can share?

8. Writing and recording music is one process but playing the music live has got to be rewarding as well. How much do you guys like playing live?
It’s the best fucking thing in the world. It’s why we do this.
9. You’re from a small town in Texas and now playing your music live around the country with a Top 10 hit on Rock radio. How gratifying is all of this for you and the band?
It is very surreal. I wake up every morning and worry that this has all just been a dream. But then it’s REAL!!!
10. Finally, what do you and the other members of your band like to do for fun (hobbies etc.) when you’re not in “Rock Band” mode?
Hang out with family. Play music. Same stuff we do on the road but with our families.
