Creed
Aug 9, 2010
Creed is putting their fans first once again this year, the band has teamed up with ORPHAN and FRET12 to design, build and give away a custom Full Circle motorcycle and guitar valued at $80,000 for the "CREED 2010 - CHOPPER & AXE GIVEAWAY." Creed has been working intimately with design teams to create the custom motorcycle and guitar, which will be on display at each venue prior to concerts on the group's 36-city tour running through September 4th. U.S. residents can enter at www.creed2010.com by completing and submitting an entry form, making them eligible to end the year with a roar and win this amazing pair of prizes.
During each show on the tour, the Orphan motorcycle and PRS Mark Tremonti Signature Model guitar will be brought on stage for Orphan's "Moment of Thunder Tribute," featuring Scott Stapp revving the bike and Tremonti soloing on the guitar to honor our fallen brothers and sisters of the military.
The custom building process of the prizes, as well as their appearance on the tour, will be documented for fans to follow online at www.creed2010.com, with the ultimate winner chosen from a random drawing on December 24th.
The "20-10 Tour" is so named because the first 2,010 reserved seats are $20 all-in. "The 20-10 Tour" will feature new songs from Creed such as "Rain," "Overcome" and "A Thousand Faces" from Full Circle, the band's 2009 release and first new album in eight years, as well as hits such as "Higher," "My Sacrifice," "With Arms Wide Open," "One" and more. Skillet and Theft will be special guests for select dates on the tour, with Red also appearing at several concerts.
Creed has sold nearly 35 million albums and has performed live in front of millions since forming in 1995. Creed was the first act to have seven consecutive number one rock radio singles, four of which came off of their debut album, 1997's My Own Prison. That album has sold more than six million copies in the U.S., and the follow-up, Human Clay, was certified Diamond for sales in excess of 11 million copies. Weathered, their third album, tied The Beatles' Anthology for the most consecutive weeks at number one on Billboard's Top 200 chart. After disbanding in 2003, Creed reunited for a three-month North American tour in the fall of 2009. Following the tour, the band released their fourth album, Full Circle, which debuted on Billboard's Top 200 chart at number two, behind Michael Jackson's This Is It. Creed has received numerous accolades, including several American Music and Billboard Awards, and the band won the GRAMMY for Best Rock Song for "With Arms Wide Open."
