Dirty Honey

Los Angeles rockers Dirty Honey were formed in 2017, and feature lead singer Marc Labelle, guitarist John Notto, bassist Justin Smolian, and drummer Corey Coverstone. Their self-titled EP was self-released in March 2019, featuring the first single "When I'm Gone" which topped the Rock charts, making them the first unsigned band to ever top the chart.
When Labelle moved to Southern California, he met guitarist John Notto. They began to do gigs featuring cover songs together at local bars and even playing sidewalk shows on Sunset Boulevard, after which they recruited bassist Justin Smolian and decided to officially form a band in 2017. They had trouble finding a drummer until Smolian brought in Corey Coverstone. Labelle came up with the name Dirty Honey after hearing Robert Plant mention his band The Honeydrippers in a Howard Stern interview. They thought it sounded like a "dirty" rock and roll name, and the rest is history.
After hearing their song "When I'm Gone", the band's longtime friend Mark DiDia became their manager and quickly got them gigs opening for Slash in Fall 2018. Their opening gigs continued including opening for The Who at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan as part of "The Who's Moving On! Tour." They also opened for tours with Skillet and Alter Bridge, and supported Guns N' Roses on their "Not in This Lifetime Tour" on November 1 and 2 in Las Vegas.
Dirty Honey’s self-titled debut album is coming out on April 23rd and will feature eight tracks, including the new single "California Dreamin'" that is already garnering significant airplay at Rock Radio!
