Eddie Vedder shows off his love for the ukulele in his new song, Longing to Belong, taken from the Pearl Jam front man's second solo album called Ukulele Songs, due for release on May 31st, accompanied by a live solo DVD titled "Water On The Road".

The video for "Longing to Belong," features high definition material mixed with Vedder seen strumming the ukulele against a Hawaiian background of crashing waves and lush vegetation.

Vedder will be kicking off a month-long tour in support of the album with a June 15th performance in Providence, Rhode Island, wrapping up the tour on July 15th in Seattle, Washington. He will be joined by special guest Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, The Frames) on the tour.

Also, Pearl Jam has released a clip from the upcoming documentary "Pearl Jam Twenty", which will chronicle the band's entire two-decade career through interviews, rare footage, live performances and more.

"Pearl Jam Twenty" is due out in September from "Jerry Maguire" director and longtime band friend Cameron Crowe. The film, an accompanying book, an upcoming two-day festival and recent reissues of Pearl Jam's first three albums are all part of a 20th-anniversary celebration.

Still, bassist Jeff Ament told The Pulse Of Radio he's a little tired of reviewing the past. "I'm ready to make a new record and get out of the mode of looking back and digging through boxes and looking for stuff," he said. "It's really good because I think that there's so much going on at the time that you forget so many things. And when people start pulling out pictures and footage from things, it's a trip to realize that large aspects of your life are fully documented."

Pearl Jam does plan to begin work on a new album this year.
